“KC Sushi is definitely one of the best! I’ve had sushi across the world and I have to say…I love Ichi roll, Yummy roll (for those of you who like cooked fish) and pepperfin and raddish roll (for those of you who enjoy fresh fish). They are a small restaurant with lots of energy and love to spare. All the customers seem to have a relationship with the owners, and the owners actually remember most of their names! The price is VERY reasonable and they are willing to do whatever they can to make sure your visit is an extraordinary experience. And don’t forget the all you can eat sushi on sundays for $29.99! And tell them a Texan sent ya! Yes, I live in Texas and every time I visit the first place I go to is KC Sushi!” -Yahoo Local

“This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in KC. Worth the drive, if you’re in midtown KC or out south – don’t be intimidated by the “northland” mystique. It’s just west of I-29 between 72nd and Barry Road (just 2 minutes from Zona Rosa). Siki (Lee’ Summit) rivals Bui and friends @ KC SUSHI, but there are new twists on this menu that keep winning us over (tempura recipes especially). Highly recommended! Try the daikon maki roll as a starter.” -The Sushi Connaisseur

“Just like home… KC Sushi may not sound like an authentic name, and when you pull up to the nearly empty parking lot and see the blackened windows across the front of the building, you may think they’re not even open. Go on in. You’ll be quite pleasantly surprised. We have eaten at several sushi restaurants and have never tasted such delicious recipes. Honestly, everything we’ve ordered has always been overly satisfying. We have a friend who is a foreign exchange student from Japan. He missed his food from back home. So we took him out to KC Sushi, and he said it tasted just like home. So there you have it. KC Sushi is the most authentic and delicious sushi bar to visit in Kansas City. Go there!!! You’ll love it.” -Merchant Circle

“The sushi is EXCELLENT and REASONABLY PRICED ($6.50-$15 range, with most under $10). The Lee’s Summit Roll is a house special and you must try it! The staff was friendly also. My friend was trying sushi for the first time and the waiter did recommend a roll for him. He also explained about the all-you-can eat for $24.99/person from 11-2 Sundays.” -JLB, Yahoo! Local

“A great hidden place! Don’t let the outside of the place stop you from enjoying what could be the best sushi in KC” -Chris, Urbanspoon

“Best Sushi in KC. Very welcoming atmosphere. My girlfriend and I were the only patrons not greeted by name. The sushi chef was very entertaining. And he interacts alot with the patrons. Service was great, they were quick to refill drinks and food came out in a timely manner. On Sundays from 11-2 they have all you can eat sushi rolls for 24.99. Which is a really good deal since we got 2 roll and 2 bowls of soup for that much. I highly recommend you visit KC sushi.” -Citysearch review

“Their food is phenomenal. I suggest the crab salad, the Lee’s Summit roll, the KC sushi roll. The spicy tuna roll, the salmon roll, it’s all good. My girlfriend loves eating there. The owners are usually there and they provide great service. Excellent choice for a good price in the Northland.” -Merchant Circle: Daniel B., Prairie Village, KS
